1. Clean Your Vase Thoroughl
Start with a clean vase or container.
Avoid using metal or galvanized containers unless they have a protective liner.
4. Trim the Stem
Re-cut each stem at an angle, about 1" (2.5 cm) from the bottom.
Use clean floral shears or a sharp knife for a clean cut.

7. Choose the Right Location
Keep flowers away from direct sunlight, drafts, extreme heat or cold.
Orchids are exotic and tropical flowers, therefore, temperature range from 65- 75 Fahrenheit degree is fit for them.
Humidity level between 55-75% is also helping to expand their lives.

2. Prepare the Water
Fill the vase with cool water mixed with flower food.
Follow the instructions on the packet for proper ratios. Avoid softened water—it contains salts that can harm flowers.
5. Immediately Place in Water
Put flowers into the prepared vase as soon as they're trimmed.
This helps prevent air bubbles from blocking water uptake.

8. Maintain Daily
Check water levels daily and refresh every 2–3 days.
Repeat steps 1–5 when refreshing to extend the life of your bouquet.

3. Remove Submerged Leaves
Cut away any foliage that would sit below the water line.
This helps prevent bacterial growth that can shorten vase life.
6. Keep Blooms Dry
Avoid getting water on the flower petals.
Moisture on petals can lead to mold or browning.
